A volunteer at the Shelby County Animal Shelter brought it to my attention that there are two dogs there who have been there a while and are in desperate need of forever or foster homes!
Here's what the volunteer had to say about Gaylord: "Poor Gaylord (young male Lab/Retriever mix) has been at the shelter for wayyyyyy too long and we're not sure why! He is such a sweet, intelligent and loveable boy. He's probably around 7 months to 1 year old and is definitely still at a trainable age! He loves to be brushed, petted, and given attention! Since he is a young boy he does have a lot of energy, but will entertain himself if given toys."
Next up is Scooby! Here's what the volunteer had to say about him: "Scooby is a handsome Boxer/Shepherd mix - adult/male. He is eager to meet you and seems to love people! Scooby loves treats but is treat oriented so he needs a little of your time to learn and polish his manners. He is smart, so training shouldn't be too intense! Who can resist those Scooby Doo-looking ears?"
