First up is Scooter! He's a 10-year-old Jack Russell Terrier who is a friendly little guy & loves people! He will make a great housedog & is just looking for a nice home to retire to!
Next we have Baxter! He's a 1-year-old Lab mix who loves to have his picture taken (just look at that statuesque pose!) and loves people. He will make a super companion and a good friend!
Meet Rex! He's a 2-year-old Lab mix. He's a friendly guy, but he prefers to be a one dog family member. He loves attention and is looking for a good home!
This smiling sweetheart is Sparky! He's a 6-month-old Rottweiler/Lab mix. He is a nice dog and will make a good friend!
Meet Spunky! It seems like he might be a littermate of Sparky's, as he is also a 6-month-old Lab/Rottweiler mix. (It looks like he got the Rottie & Sparky got the Lab!) The shelter staff says he's a nice dog who just needs a good home!
Another possible littermate is Theador, yet another 6-month-old Lab/Rottweiler mix! The shelter staff says he's a friendly guy who will make a nice companion!

Next up is Ernie. He's a "very old" Terrier mix who was found as a stray. The shelter staff keeps hoping that his owner will come to find him! They say Ernie is a sweet & gentle old boy.
Shelby County Doggies

Meet Audrey! She's a two-year-old Sheltie/Golden Retriever mix. She came into someone's yard and wouldn't leave - they just had way too many dogs of their own to keep her. They did state that she was a very well-behaved dog & that she just stayed in their yard! They tried placing an ad in the paper but no one claimed her, so they brought her to the shelter. She does well on a leash, loves people, and would make a nice-sized house dog!
Next up is Angus! He must also be new to the shelter, since the only thing on his profile is the fact that he's a Black Lab. If you've fallen in love with those gorgeous hazel eyes, call the shelter to ask the staff all about Angus!
Meet Queenie! She's an adult Boxer who appears to be potty trained - she will hold it in her kennel. She is well-behaved on lead & has lots of good manners!
This little sweetheart is Meyer! He's just a baby - only 3 or 4 months old. The shelter staff is guessing he's a Beagle/Rottweiler mix and that he'll grow up to be a medium or large dog. He's very playful and loves attention!
Last, but most certainly not least, is Cane! He's a Great Dane/Boxer mix puppy who's new to the shelter - as I've mentioned before, the shelter staff will be glad to answer any questions about him!
