Fifteen Fabulous Furry Friends!

Miami County Dogs
(if you're interested in adopting any of these dogs, call the Miami County Animal Shelter at 937-332-6919!)

Meet Trixie!  She's a ten-month-old Labrador Retriever who was turned in to the shelter by her owners because their landlord wouldn't let them keep her.  She is good with kids, housebroken & cratetrained.  She is a sweet and friendly girl!

Next up is Milo!  He's a 3-year-old Jack Russell Terrier who was found as a stray and will be available for adoption on 9/24/11.  He is a bit timid initially, but he comes around after a bit.  Even though he's a little shy, Milo's a sweet boy!

Meet Pokey!  He's a 1 or 2-year-old Jack Russell Terrier who was found as a stray and will be available for adoption on 9/22/11.  He is a playful & energetic boy, which is typical of his breed!

This adorable little guy is Doodle!  He's a 2-year-old Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher mix who was brought in as a stray and hasn't been reclaimed.  He is a friendly little guy who isn't shy about letting you know he wants you to pay attention to him - he'll bark until you give him attention!

Meet Tilly!  She's a 6-year-old Terrier mix who was found as a stray and will be available for adoption on 9/23/11.  Since she's older, she's way past the puppy phase and would be perfect for someone wanting a mellow companion!  She is very sweet and mild-mannered!

Makeover alert!!  Check out the before and after shots of Skittle!  He's a 2-year-old Poodle that came in as a stray and was in pretty bad shape.  Lucky for Skittle, a local groomer generously volunteered to shave off all the nasty, matted hair that had been weighing him down.  Now we can all see his handsome face!  He's a shy guy, but is very sweet and loves nothing more than to curl up in your lap!  If you'd like to give Skittle a great new home, please call the Miami County Animal Shelter!

Shelby County Dogs
(if you're interested in any of the following dogs, please call the Shelby County Animal Shelter at 937-498-7201!)

Meet Abe!  He's a Boxer mix who was found running loose.  The shelter staff says he's a very nice, large dog who did well with the other dogs they introduced him to.  He has a soft, uniquely colored grey brindle coat and he needs a home urgently!

Next up is Ashton!  He's a Flat Coat Retriever/Labrador Retriever mix who's less than a year old.  He gets along with other dogs & loves to play with other dogs.  He's also good with cats - he didn't try to play with them, just sniffed and wagged his tail!

Next up is Target, a Schnauzer mix puppy!  There's no more info in his profile, but if you call the shelter they'll be glad to answer any questions you might have!

Meet Lucky!  She's a Boxer mix and there's no more information about her in her profile...but if today is her lucky day and you've fallen in love with her sweet face, call the shelter and they'll tell you all about her!

This handsome fellow is Aiden!  He's a 7-month-old Collie mix who is a little skittish in new situations but is friendly.  He just needs a new owner to build his confidence up!  He didn't have any interest when shown cats - just sniffed, wagged his tail, and walked away.  He also gets along well with other dogs, and was playing well with another dog at the shelter until the dog decided to try and mount him.  After that, Aiden understandably shied away!  :)

Check out the smile on Scout!  He's a German Shepherd/Alaskan Malamute mix who seems to get along with other dogs.  He's a nice, big boy who's gentle with people!

Speaking of great smiles...Meet Robert!  He's a 6-month-old Flat Coat Retriever/Labrador Retriever mix who was found running as a stray.  The shelter staff says he's great looking and has a good temperment!

This gorgeous gal is Mocha!  She's a Labrador Retriever.  There's no more information in her profile, but if you've fallen in love with those gorgeous green eyes, call the shelter and they'll tell you all about her!

Last but not least, meet Gypsy!  She's a Golden Retriever who is described as a sweet girl who gets along with other dogs!  She just needs to find her forever home!
