URGENT!! Sweet Kenya is at the top of the euthanization list!

Meet Kenya!  Poor Kenya has been waiting a loooooooong time at the Shelby County Animal Shelter for someone to take her home.  She came into the shelter with that blue bandana tied around her neck, but no one came to reclaim her - poor girl!

Kenya is a Boxer/Black Mouth Cur mix who is approximately a year & a half old, and hasn't been spayed yet.  She's young at heart & still very trainable.  She's full of energy & is always ready to play, go on a walk, or get lots of attention!  She seems to do well with other dogs & walks well on a leash - she is a super sweet & beautiful dog!

The Shelby County Animal Shelter staff & Dream 4 Pets volunteers have contacted many rescue organizations for Kenya, but haven't been able to find a safe haven to take her in.  If you know of a legitimate rescue organization who'd be willing to take her in, please share this link with them!

Or if you've fallen in love with Kenya's gorgeous smile & adorable face and want to give her a second chance at life, please contact the Shelby County Animal Shelter at (937) 498-7201!

  1. Very sad day for me today. I learned today that they ended up putting this sweet little girl to sleep. Such a shame that no one wanted to open their heart to this little girl. Some day we will meet at the Rainbow Bridge until then I hope you are playing your heart out with all of your new doggie friends.
