Darke County New Arrivals!

It seems like the shelters are taking turns uploading lots of dogs at once - yesterday it was Miami County, today it's Darke County!  So if you fall in love with any of the amazing dogs you see below, call the Darke County Animal Shelter at (937) 547-1645!

Our first dog today is Axle, a 3-year-old Jack Russell Terrier mix!  The shelter staff says he weighs around 15 pounds, loves people, and is a sweet little guy that would make a great housedog!

Next up is April, a 3-year-old Lab mix who's got gorgeous hazel eyes!  The shelter staff says she weighs around 60 lbs., is a very nice girl, and would make a great companion!

This playful fellow is Jacobe, a 4-year-old Pug mix.  The shelter staff says he weighs around 15 pounds, loves people, and would make a great housedog.  He's a playful little guy and loves to play ball!

Meet Jasmine!  I had to share two pictures of her because they were both so cute--it's like she had her serious model pose and then someone told her to smile...what a gorgeous doggy grin!  Jasmine is a 14-year-old Shih-tzu/Poodle mix who appears to be blind in one eye but seems healthy & is very active!  Don't let the fact that she's fourteen scare you off - little dogs (especially poodles) have long life spans, and she's clearly got lots of love left to give!  All she needs is a nice warm home to retire in!

Speaking of gorgeous doggy grins, look at the smile on Carter!  He's a 3-year-old Boxer - the shelter staff says he's very friendly & is a happy boy who's just waiting to find a new home!

Next up is Oscar!  He's a 2-year-old Shepherd/Lab mix - the shelter staff says he's a friendly guy who's just looking for a good home!

Last but not least, meet Rover!  He's a 10-month-old Shepherd mix puppy - the shelter staff thinks he'll grow to be about 50 pounds.  They say he's a nice puppy who loves attention!

If you'd like to add any of these wonderful dogs to your family, please call the Darke County Animal Shelter at (937) 547-1645!
